Kevin Ambrose is the author of several weather books, two books about the Knickerbocker Theatre Disaster, two Civil War books, and a photography book showcasing the seasons in D.C. He holds a B.S. in computer science from the University of Virginia and is an account executive for Adobe. Ambrose's interests include photography, history, weather forecasting, archaeology, and running. Ambrose has contributed to the Capital Weather blog since 2004 as a writer and photographer, with articles on weather, storm chasing, insects, nature, and a cherry tree named Stumpy.
